Dr. Nevin Nanda is a Professor of Medicine and Cardiology, Director of the echocardiography laboratory at the University of Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Prof. Nanda is an author of over 1,000 publications, 8 textbooks on echocardiography, three of which have been translated into French, German and Italian. The Professor is a winner of numerous prestigious awards. In his career we presented more than 2000 presentations at international forums. Over 300 cardiologists began a career in the field of echocardiography under his leadership.
Prof. Nanda was in Bulgaria for the first time at the invitation of Assoc. Prof. Krasimira Hristova – Chairman of WG echocardiography.
The main theme of the event was the application of new non-invasive methods in echocardiography evaluation of patients with cardiovascular disease. Enriched with clinical cases of actual practice the scientific program provoked serious interest from attendees. Prof. Nanda shared his experience with experts and specialists in the field of echocardiography with the promise that he would return again in Bulgaria.
Simultaneously program was held an exhibition of leading pharmaceutical and instrumentation companies.
